REQUIREMENTS
1. File Format
- Export as WAV (44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, 24-bit or 32-bit)
- No MP3 or compressed formats
- One Stereo File for Mastering
2. Grouped Stems (Bus-Only Mixing)
For this free deal I work with bus stems only to keep the process efficient.
Max. 9 Groups (busses):
- Kicks (separate for a clean low-end)
- Subbass (dedicated for precise low-end control)
- MidBass
- Drums/Percussions
- Synths/Leads
- Pads/Atmos
- Background Elements
- FX
- Vocals
3. Levels & Headroom
- All stems should peak at -6bd or lower
- Remove any limiters, compressors or EQs on the master bus before exporting
4. Effects:
- Include effects like reverb or delay only, if they are essential to the sound
- If unsure, send both dry and wet versions
5. Tempo & Key
- Provide the BPM and key of your track
6. Reference Tracks (optional)
- Send one or two tracks that match your desired sound and style
7. Notes
- Include any specific requests (e.g. desired vocal effects, loudness preferences or stylistic goals)
